Northampton proved to be very much a rough and tumble escaped on the back of a bashing at Mildenhall. These knocks take their toll on the car and the team in question.
Difficult weekend for us here at wright brothers, we are still in our infancy as racers and learning each and every day. With engine issues occurring at Mildenhall its been hands on getting the cars turned round in 6 days ready for Northampton.
Going from Novice to white last year saw very little in terms of damage to the car so this year going off yellow has already see its fair share of battles which has ended up with us loosing and identifying flaws we need to address on set up to ensure the cars survive. This is a full contact sport and damage is expected so we prepare for this.
This week we are assessing the cars and identifying key areas that show weak points during racing conditions and we aim to address them before travelling to Bradford Saturday. One thing is for sure. This isnt our first Rodeo, and we will overcome this low in results, performance and feelings.
